Only a Dozen Major College Football Teams Remain Unbeaten After 7 Weeks of Play

After 7 weeks of the major college football season, only a dozen teams remain unbeaten among the 120 Division 1-A schools. They include:

Alabama (6-0), Oregon (6-0), Florida (6-0), Kansas State (6-0),Notre Dame (6-0), Ohio State (7-0), Oregon State (5-0), Mississippi State (6-0), Louisville (6-0), Rutgers (6-0),Cincinnati (5-0) and Ohio (7-0). The majority of these 12 teams will suffer a loss within the next 4 weeks. 

At most risk this Saturday are the #3 Florida Gators (6-0) who host the #9 South Carolina Gamecocks (6-1), and the #4 Kansas State Wildcats (6-0) who travel to the #17 West Virginia Mountaineers (5-1).

Other games of interest are #6 LSU (6-1) at #20 Texas A&M (5-1), #18 Texas Tech at unranked TCU (5-1), unranked Middle Tennessee (4-2) at #15 Mississippi State (6-0), unranked Brigham Young (4-3) at #5 Notre Dame (6-0), #21 Cincinnati (5-0) at unranked Toledo (6-1), and Michigan State (4-3) at #23 Michigan (4-2).
